Ready to go Rogue with ESAB Rogue welding machine?

Updated: Oct 5, 2023

ESAB is a world leader in the production of welding and cutting equipment and consumables. With over 100 years of experience, they are continuously working on the optimization and development of welding equipment without compromising on quality.

Recently launching a brand-new welding machine, the ESAB Rogue welding machine comes in two different model types ET and ES. This welding machine is a new era of welding capability that will force users to rethink everything from a portable MMA or TIG machine at this price.

The ESAB Rogue Welding machine is perfect for professionals

Precise, professional and consistent control for smooth stable performance. The rogue power source has been tested in laboratories around the world to ensure it rises to global performance and usability standards. With an easy-to-use interface containing a large digital display that’s easy to read.

With robust and rigid fibreglass-moulded housing is built to withstand impact after impact within a compact and lightweight design. It makes it easy to carry from job to job with a sturdy handle and includes a shoulder strap to make it more comfortable than ever before. Although Rogue’s power stacks up against machines twice its price.

Why choose the Rogue ET?

First up is the ET model available in the following configurations ET 180i and 200ip PRO.

ESAB Rogue ET Welding Machine

Rogue ET is a powerful and easy-to-handle entry-level high-frequency start TIG machine. Although this machine is compact and lightweight it is filled with high technology and power to perform exception arc characteristics both in TIG and MMA modes.

With advanced parameters that can be adjusted in TIG; gas pre-flow, start current, ramp-up time, ramp downtime, finish current and post-flow. All of these can be worked with 2 or 4-stroke mode. Using this machine in MMA the operator can adjust Hot start or Arc Force to match their best welding preferences or applications. With a simple and intuitive user interface to ensure adjustments are made quickly.

All variants of this machine are suitable to work with generators.

Key Features:

  • Excellent high-frequency TIG start ensures no failures on ignition with superior arc characteristics for smooth and stable performance.

  • Easy to Use – The set-up of welding parameters is simple and intuitive.

  • Robust Design – IP23S is designed for both fabrication floor or site applications

  • Advanced TIG controls for full-cycle control to match every application you need, and pulse feature up to 500 Hz for perfect control of heat input

  • PFC ensures a stable arc, resistant to power fluctuations even while working on long extension cables, up to 100 m (PRO version only).

  • An optional remote current adjustment from TIG torch, foot pedal, hand remote control

Why choose the Rogue ES?

ESAB Rogue ES Welding Machine

ESAB have also launched an ES model welding machine available in numerous configurations; 150i, 180i, 180i Pro and 200i Pro. This robust and durable power source has been designed for the professional welder proving state-of-the-art welding performance and reliability. The latest high-performance power electronics and digital control ensure a precise consistent arc.

The ability to weld a variety of metals including alloyed and non-alloyed steels, stainless steel and cast iron due to the smooth DC (direct current) welding power. Rogue ES being digital the micro-processor precisely controls all functions and provides best-in-class welding performance across the amperage range of the machine.

Key Features:

  • Superior Arc characteristics –Smooth, Stable performance.

  • Generator Compliant –Suitable for use with generators (recommended 7 kW).

  • Easy to Use –Set the welding current and weld with excellent results

  • Practical Design -makes the power source easy to carry which enables use at almost any worksite

  • Robust Design –IP23S Designed for Fabrication Shop or Site application.

  • PFC ensures a stable arc, resistant to power fluctuations even while working on long extension cables up to 100 m (PRO version only)

  • Optional analogue remote control (PRO version only
