Flux-cored Welding Wire

Flux-cored arc welding is a semi-automatic or automatic arc welding process. FCAW requires a continuously-fed consumable tubular electrode containing a flux and a constant-voltage or less commonly a constant-current welding power supply. Flux-cored Welding wire is manufactured by filling a steel strip in pipe form with various chemical compounds. Flux-cored wires can be used with any type of GMAW machine with or without a gas shield depending on the product type.
