LATEST PRODUCT: TCT Rail Cutting Saw |
Truflame have for some time now, been working with
Metronet on the development of our TCT Rail Cutting Saw, and over
this period have made significant improvements to the original unit
that received Network Rail approval back in 2003. {certificate
No PA05/01478}
The unit now has a new cutting angle which has
reduced the amount of material that is removed at any one time,
thus improving the life of the blade, the unit also now benefits
from an additional 150rmp from its 110v motor this gives the unit
additional performance and ensures a smoother cleaner cut.
The unit is available for demonstrations right now

Standard Unit
This unit has a 430mm ribbon burner and incorporates a variable
flame system, which allows the flame pattern to be angled
to influence where the flame hits the rail.
This unit weights 9.2kg. |

This unit has a 430mm ribbon burner and incorporates a variable
flame system, which allows the flame pattern to be angled
to influence where the flame hits the rail.
This unit also benefits from a heavy duty frame which sits
lower on the track with the burner parallel to the head of
the rail for ultra fast pre-heats 343 deg C in under 12 mins.

This unit has been manufactured to work along side the ESAB
Railtrac Bv welding unit (pictured with heater).
This unit has a 850mm ribbon burner and incorporates a variable
flame system, which allows the flame pattern to be angled
to influence where the flame hits the rail.
This unit also benefits from a heavy duty frame which sits
lower on the track with the burner parallel to the head of
the rail for ultra fast pre-heats 343 deg C in under 12 mins.

Portable Rail Sheer |
Truflame are currently developing a newly designed
light weight rail sheer.
A working prototype (see picture below) has now
been trialed at our onsite stillage and has proved to be successful
and very easy to operate.
The unit however, in its present form is not able
to perform wide gap sheering due to insufficient clearance between
the sheer jaw's, we are however now increasing the frame length
to allow wide gap welds to be cut and anticipate having a fully
operational unit available for demonstrating by mid to late April.
